Today, we answer the age old question: is it actually not that easy being green, or was Kermit just being dramatic?
Green is defined by Merriam-Webster as "a color whose hue is somewhat less yellow than that of growing fresh grass or of the emerald or is that of the part of the spectrum lying between blue and yellow." In terms of symbolism, yellow is often associated with envy, generosity, growth, harmony, health, hope, inexperience, judgement, luck, materialism, prosperity, and safety. Does green just not exactly explain what you're envisioning? Check out different shades like army, chartreuse, emerald, fern, forest, hunter, kelly, lime, mint, moss, olive, pickle, pine, sage, seafoam, shamrock, or any of the many other shades and names this color can go by depending on what frequency it's sitting at.
Like the others, this post will be divided between albums and songs.
