From the lightest lavender to the deepest indigo, purple is an absolutely entrancing color in every shade.
Purple is defined by Merriam-Webster as "any of various colors that fall about midway between red and blue in hue." In terms of symbolism, blue is often associated with ambition, creativity, devotion, dignity, extravagance, grandeur, luxury, nobility, power, royalty, wealth, and wisdom. Is purple just not quite the fitting word for you? Check out different shades like amethyst, byzantium, eggplant, electric, grape, heliotrope, indigo, lavender, lilac, mauve, mulberry, orchid, pansy, plum, purpureus, thistle, violet, or any of the many other shades and names this color can go by depending on the mixture of red and blue that made it.
