I love color. That's pretty much the gist here. I love how color makes us feel, and how one color can mean so many different things to every single individual person on the planet. From there, the idea for a color spectrum type series was born.
Red is defined by dictionary.com as the primary color at one extreme end of the visible spectrum, an effect of light with a wavelength between 610 and 780 nanometers. As far as symbolism goes, red is often associated with activity, anger, courage, danger, good fortune, happiness, heat, joy, love, passion, sacrifice, and sexuality. Is red too boring or generic a word for you? Try out different shades like blush, brick, burgundy, cardinal, cherry, chestnut, crimson, garnet, infrared, maroon, rose, ruby, russet, scarlet, vermillion, wine, or any of the many other shades and names this color can go by depending on what frequency it's hanging out at.
This week, the post will be divided between albums and songs. For albums, I've compiled a list of albums from my husband and I's individual Apple Music libraries looking for red album covers, because I firmly believe looking at a monochromatic playlist would be one of the most aesthetically pleasing things ever.
